Donate for Pan’s bike, because … Bicycle saves trees!

The “Bicycle saves trees ‘ project NGO Eco Pan launched in 2013, following the similar project developed by organization “UZOR” from Koprivnica.

Eco Pan volunteers and employees are collecting waste paper donations in town of Karlovac. Waste paper is donated by citizens, companies and institutions, who are actively participating in waste separation and preservation of the environment. The funds obtained from waste paper collecting are used to maintain the project and development of programs and activities of Eco Pan.

So far, as part of this project collected a total of 40 tons of waste paper.

Currently the waste paper is collected with help of a cargo bike, and due to increased number of waste paper donors, we hare forced to use a car, which is not the ideal solution. In intention to develop a project that involves all interested donors and is completely environmentally friendly, electric cargo bike is needed. In order to achieve that project could involve all interested users, and at the same time, be fully environment friendly, cargo electric bicycle is required.

Therefore, we invite all our citizens and everyone who want to help the project of Eco Pan, to actively engage in campaign and help us to collect funds for purchasing an elecric cargo bike. In that way you will help to promote the project “Bicycle saves trees” and raise the awareness of local communities about the importance of waste separation and active participation in environmental protection.
