Moss graffiti

If you are friend of earth and have decided that you don’t want to use commercial graffiti spray any more or you are just looking forward to learn something new, artist or not, here you can find some interesting ideas how to make MOSS GRAFFITI 🙂
Searching through internet we have found two major recipes (and lot’s of their variations):

Recipe #1
You will need:
1 or 2 clumps (small handful) of moss
2 cups of yogurt or buttermilk
2 cups of water or beer
Half a teaspoon of sugar
Corn syrup (optionally)
blender

Recipe #2
You will need:
1 or 2 clumps (small handful) of moss
buttermilk (60 ml)
lukewarm water (350 ml)
2tsp of gel from the diapers
blender

Procedure:
Procedure is same for the both of the recipes except in the first Step.

  1. Take the gel out of diapers first (shown in video).
  2. Wash the moss to remove as much soil from the roots as possible and break the moss into smaller pieces.
  3. Add all the ingredients in a blender.
  4. Blend the mixture until it is completely smooth.
  5. It needs to be a paint-like and smooth texture.
  6. Use a paint brush to apply the moss-paint to your desired surface.
  7. Check on your design weekly to either apply more moss-paint or to spray with water.
